Mineable Resources

What if there were mine-able resources you could use to upgrade/craft tools/armor. Every map has its own unique ore but also has low amount of other ores. You can only mine them with the pick weapon.

Creeper crypts - could have stone to mine
Pumpkin hallows - Could have pumpkins to mine to upgrade
Swallow swamps - Could have slime balls to gather.
Fiery Forge - could have Quartz to upgrade.

Names may be wrong but the jist should be there.
With the upgrades could also add tier'ed weapons and armor.
