Option to separate "attack" and "use" button on console.

    This is particularly infuriating when you're trying to remove mobs from around your downed friend but you end up starting to revive your friend instead of attacking the mobs that are on him. Please have separate buttons for attack and interact! I suggest by default RT for attack and A for interact.

    I totally support this. This is an issue on Switch too, and I assume also for PS. Have had several times when I try to attack an enemy that gets close, but I end up picking up whatever is on the ground near me. This is especially frustrating when a Creeper gets close, and I know I can kill it right before it explodes if I attack at once, but instead I pick up what is on the ground and then get blown up by creepers. I have gotten killed by this several times.

    Yes. I think this is a good idea. Died countless times fighting mobs to accidentally picking up drops, stopping me from attacking. Best when facing a few creepers. Ahhh what happened. Oh picked up that apple on accident

    I agree with this. Especially trying to kill mobs while my friend is down.

    Pretty much the same on Switch version (in which I could suggest to use the ZL button).

    Even could be grate to be able to configure that button on the Configuration, since you're only allowed to configure the Attack button, but not the Use or Revive button.

    I support this idea, mostly for the Revive option.

    Absolutely correct. We had this problem when playing on the Nintendo Switch and wiped many times because we were either fighting or reviving when we wanted to do the opposite. This needs a fix.

    Please for the love of all that is holy make this a thing.... the game ALWAYS does the wrong thing when it has to decide between picking something up, reviving someone, and lets say not dying.... (attacking) I've even had it where I'm almost done reviving someone and it just decides to start attacking and then we both die....

    Please give an update where interact and melle are different!! Or give the option for us to customize it!!!!! Interact and melee stay on the same button even with the customize option given!! So annoying

    Dying because i picked something up instead of attacking is the worst way to lose a revive. Please make it a separate button, maybe RB since you can already roll with right thumbstick.

    This. Every game, since as far back as I can remember, has either had a separate "Use" button, or the ability to remap it as needed. Combining the two is just bad UI design, and you'd think they'd have figured that out after playing video games... in general, or at the very least, realized how bad the current process is after playtesting. Did they not play their own game enough to see that it can be an issue? Were there not testers for this game, or were the testers just not payed attention to?
