Trust System and Polar Bears/ Polar Bears attacking phantoms

Right now, phantoms can spawn if you don't sleep, and without proper gear, they can be a huge harm to players. I think that the polar bears should stand up, grab nearby phantoms, and kill them. This would help players defend against phantoms, and it gives polar bears a use. In real life, polar bears help keep animal populations balanced, and they eat creatures like seals, reindeer, and sometimes birds. I think that the population of phantoms in Minecraft is kind of high for me, mostly because I barely sleep. It would be cool if polar bears helped me defeat swooping phantoms to keep them in check. Not only would this give polar bears a use, but it gives me another reason to visit cold biomes.

EDIT: Maybe polar bears can attack phantoms automatically, but you should also be able to get the polar bear to trust you, like with foxes, so it will attack whatever attacks you.

    Suggestion: maybe you could tame polar bears and make them attack phantoms like with wolves and skeletons?

    Tony1048576 I like your idea, but you can't really tame polar bears in real life, so I think the trust system (like with foxes) would be better for the polar bear.

    LoyalSwan perhaps you could make them trust you by feeding them raw fish, because with other mobs, you get them to trust you by feeding them.

    same trust mechanic as foxes, however, it would be harder because the adult polar bears will attack you.
