Baby Villagers and Nitwits Should Be Afraid of the Dark

In lower light levels, baby villagers and nitwits should run to higher light levels. Nitwits are like the village idiots, so there stupid and would run. The baby villagers are, well, children, who are afraid of the dark. The game would detect when a baby or nitwit entered lower light level then x level and then run a flee command until they path find to a light level higher than x.

    I do like this idea. I would even expand it to actually make all villagers be afraid of the dark. This would make sense since hostile mobs spawn in the dark and would prevent villagers from strolling into nearby dark caves during the day.

    It would also be an incentive to have a player lighting up the village better than it is by default.

    Perhaps villagers would even like a player for helping spreading light in the village :)

    I like the idea, but if you do find one they should like to stay close to you when in the dark
