Right now, panda bears are kind of useless, even if they are super cute. I think panda bears should effect the follow range of mobs (distance for a mob to target another mob or player), because that mob might stop to look at the cute panda bears and forget all about their anger! One idea for this is that panda bears act like barriers for the follow range of others. For example, regularly a zombie would detect and go towards a nearby player, but if the player is behind a panda bear, the zombie shouldn't detect it. Another idea is that the panda bear decreases the follow range of nearby mobs. For example, a zombie normally has the follow range of 20, but if a panda bear is in a 5 block radius of that zombie or if that panda bear is in the way of that player, that zombie's follow range would be decreased to 15. A final idea is that if an angered mob passes a panda bear, it stops to look at it for two seconds, and then goes back to targeting its enemy if it's still in range. This would be a great addition to Minecraft because it would give the panda bears a nice use in the game.
