More bees in a hive

There currently are up to three bees in one hive if I have read correctly. Why so few? Have two bees and breed them once and the hive is full. That is a bit weird compared to the hundred of bees a real hive contains.

I suggest to a) make them smaller like half as big as they are now. The bees are very cute but seem absurd in size. halfing their size would imho do no harm to their practicality but make them a little bit more realistic. And make more of them be able to live in one hive. Like 5 or even more.
