Void Crawler

Void Crawlers would be blobs with the void texture and big, grey eyes that would spawn in the void. They wouldn't attack you but every block they touched would disappear. Also, when you attacked or touched them, creative mode or not, you would die. This would stop players in creative mode from breaking bedrock knowing that it would corrupt their builds and give the end a weird and mysterious mob.

It should not erase end blocks (except for corus fruit and maybe purpur blocks), bedrock (duh), or obsidian, and it would cling to and slowly slide across blocks it can't destroy, meaning it would usually stay at bedrock level. It can kill any mob except End mobs (excluding shulkers) and phantoms and can't destroy shulker boxes or ender chests. It would die when it touches nether blocks or water, but can survive lava.
