The Basalt Brute: Terror of the Deltas

The Basalt Deltas I feel, need more diversity. Another mob, more than just Magma cubes, so I propose the Basalt brute.

The Basalt Brute would look similar to an Iron golem, the only difference being how it’s arms would be made of basalt and it’s head as well as body would look like a Blackstone block with its head having a gold eye carved into it.

Basalt Brutes would spawn inside of the blocks in a basalt delta as a Brute trap. This would be easily recognizable as the Brutes head would be sticking out. If you break any block in a 20-block radius, however the brute will awaken.

Basalt Brutes attack by either swinging their arms If you’re close which would deal 10 hearts of damage. However if the player is far it will pick up a block and throw it, blocks thrown will deal 7 hearts  of damage on direct  impact and knock nearby players away. As well as break blocks such as wooden planks.

If you whittle away the Brute’s massive health pool of 50 hearts to 0 it will drop 1-3 blocks of Blackstone and Basalt  . It would also have a 5% chance to drop its head which would be a valuable tool in bartering, simply holding it in your hand will increase the chance of valuable items by 50%.
