The gossiper villager is basically a reporter villager. he tells the other villagers about events and starts gossip. he can go to other villages and gossip about you, before he leaves, he leaves a note on his work station reading "be back soon."
he can buy food, paper, and sticks. he can sell you positive gossip, and a news paper. the news paper was invented in 1700s, so it works, it also shows prices of 5 cheapest trades and 5 most expensive trades, and it can show other players and your positive and negative gossip throughout the gossipers home village. he uses the reporters desk and a new block that is called the information board, it is 4 blocks tall and 6 blocks wide, and spawns in the center of the village. the gossiper would be a interesting village addition, to hope it gets added.
