In each Minecraft world, there are 128 strongholds. They all lead to the same obsidian platform at the main End Island. This needs to change. Inner ring of strongholds, about 1000 blocks from (0,0) will keep this property to allow the play through of the game to the Enderdragon. The outer rings of strongholds however, should each lead to their own end city thousands of blocks from the main end island. The end city would have a new room where the player would enter the dimension. There would also be a portal at the end city to return to the Overworld. This would be included in an ”End Update” to parallel the Nether Update. This would help to make the End a place where you can build your base, similar to how the Nether has been updated.
