1.16 egg trading

i have discovered that in the 1.16 bedrock update villagers will no longer buy eggs from the player

i am deeply offended by this as villagers should buy eggs as part of a balanced trading diet which would ruin the purpose of having chickens lay eggs, please dont do that

    Please add egg trading back into the game. The decision to take it out of Bedrock significantly and adversely affects game play. If you want to level-set the two editions, add egg trades to Java. I'm perplexed why you would even think removing it from Bedrock was a good idea. Egg trades are a valuable and readily accessible means to obtaining emeralds. While other choices certainly exist, it makes the process far more laborious. It slows down a players ability to explore, build, expand, mine, virtually everything because the other avenues for obtaining emeralds require far more time and effort to obtain them. Please, for the sake of an enjoyable playing experience, bring back egg trading. I want to explore my world, not constantly farm in order to obtain a fraction of the emeralds that eggs produce readily.

    I noticed this too when trying to find a farmer to trade eggs.  I tried 5 different farmers and thought I was either extremely unlucky or was losing my mind. I'm very disappointed in minecraft for removing that feature.

    Our family has a realm with dozens of villages.  Removing egg trading screwed up the economics of the villages we spent over a year building.  It took months of dropping farmers in lava and leveling up new ones before realizing this was an intentional "feature."

    I think that you should have egg trading that way I will have infinite emeralds$$$$$.

    Egg trading is extremely, extremely overpowered. All you have to do is set up a few dozen chickens on top of a hopper and you have infinite emeralds. It breaks the game. I don't like this idea.
