When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Redstone alternatives: Highly Conductive Redstone

I completely support the changing of redstone visually. I however think making such a change to the way the most basic element of Minecraft works is crazy. I do also think many of the way redstone works is highly confusing and I do think that this change is a good change, but for the sake of players who have learned and build thousands of things with the old redstone can't be forgotten. Thus brings us to my suggestion, 'Highly Conductive Redstone". It can be made with a simple crafting recipe like crafting two redstone together to get 2 highly conductive redstone. The difference between these two being how the redstone acts. This way redstone can stay the same and the highly conductive redstone can act as the newer easier to use. The way these two would react to each other is up for debate but I really don't want to see a change that would affect many players contraptions.

    No highly conductive redstone would have to act like the old redstone, new players need to be able to use redstone without having to craft it each time.

    I agree with you so much.It can be changed to greenstone, which can be distinguished from red stone, and maybe more interesting circuits can be made.

    i think we should just get rid of the new redstone altogether

    it will break any curcit with a redcoder in it wich is a surprising amount

    Maybe the crafting recipe should be a Redstone dust and a golden nugget because gold is very conductive of electricity.
