The Old Wandering Trader.
After a long time, the Wandering Trader decided to stay in a village, so he built a stall for his lamas and a house for himself right next to it. He has seen a lot and can tell the Villagers good stories, so they really get to like him.
So when you interact with him be careful, because once he or his lamas get hurt or something of his house gets destroyed, not only the Iron Golem, but the whole Village will be after you. As the Villagers can't attack you, they maybe gather around you and spawn an extra Iron Golem, so you can't get away so easily.
And that's his story.
Now about him.
Just like the Blacksmith, he doesn't appear in ever Village, but where he does, the rate of Wandering Traders spawning goes up.
He also trades really good stuff, like old enchanted books for reasonable prise, but because he is a bit old, also sometimes some rubbish for high prices.
On the Reddit the Idea was, that he would also sell maps of all kinds of structures and replace the cartographer. If so, his spawn rate may need to be lowered. Maybe, when the adults go working, the kids stay around him, to hear stories. Maybe, when you explore the house, he will have a chest with one of his story's in it.
For his looks
Maybe a smaller version of the Wandering Trader, with gray hair, a hand me down Wandering Trader Outfit and a Walking Stick.
His Lamas also can be old, but I don't think they live as long as him.
