Ruined Portals should spawn some soulsand along with the netherrack, so they create natural bubble elevators when spawning underwater. This would allow players to discover bubble elevators through the game.

Not much, one to three pieces, just so players could discover it naturally, cause who would guess soulsand would do that without looking it up!
