I have an idea for a new mob. It would fly high up in the skies of the overworld, and it will be white, allowing it to blend in with the clouds unless you look hard enough. It's called the QuartzGlider. The Quartzglider is based on the Quetzalcoatlus, a prehistoric, flying animal. It's kind of hard to describe the Quartzglider's appearance, but it looks like a Quetzalcoatlus, but white and it would look like it is made out of Quartz and other stone-like materials. Here is a good google image I found on the Quetzalcoatlus. The Quartzglider would be slightly less rarer than a pink sheep, but still pretty rare. They would fly at about build height, which is 256 blocks. Quartzgliders are neutral mobs, which means that they won't attack unless they are attacked first. Quartzgliders have 50 health and they do 5 damage. The Quartzglider's main purpose is for player-flight before going to the End. Quartzgliders can't be tamed like dogs or cats, but can breed with other Quartzgliders using pieces of quartz, like most animals. You won't actually fly the Quartzglider like how you ride a horse, but instead, it will be more like how you ride a pig. You will need a Quartz on a stick, which is crafted with a fishing rod, iron nugget, and 1 quartz. After you got your Quartz on a Stick, you will need to place a saddle on the Quartzglider, then you can ride it. If you hold out your Quartz on a Stick while riding the Quartzglider, it will go towards wherever you are looking at while holding it.
