When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Hoppers being able to take water from sponges. #JAVA

When a wet sponge is on a hopper if there is a bucket in the hopper or a bucket in a container that is the hopper leading to,the water from the sponge will fill the bucket. JAVA

    Personally I disagree, sponge consumes 300 or so water blocks. It doesn't make sense to me that this would be 1 water buckets worth.

    I'd suggest water should dry while over fire and/or lava (on random tick). It'd be a really simple change which allows you to dry sponges easily
