Different Lodestone Compass Texture

After looking through snapshots I have been very impressed. But there has been one thing bothering me sense snapshot 20w13a, the lodestone compass. What I think would be cool is if instead of the enchant glint compass it could have a separate texture. So maybe when you link it turns into a more fancy compass with gold or something like that because the enchant glint just looks out of place.
