Shroomstrider

A tall, spindly mob that walks high above the giant fungi on its two legs. This creature would suck the juice out of Shroomlight blocks, turning them into a dried form of Shroomlight, which could perhaps be rehydrated with water and maybe dyed as a colored light source. This creature would then drop glowstone dust on the ground, or, with a new feature allowing glowstone dust to be placed like redstone dust as a weak light source, place it on the ground. These dust trails would lead back to the Shroomstrider's nest, which would be made of glowstone and contain baby Shroomstriders. 

Shroomstriders would also be rideable, providing an excellent view of the landscape below. Maybe you could even see Piglins riding these, and keeping tamed Shroomstriders in stables at their bastions! Shroomstriders would be tamable with Shroomlight blocks.

    I feel like this wouldn’t feel “Minecraft” enough. But maybe a similar mob would be cool. But I definitely think that there should be a dried variant of a shroom light. Maybe if you put a sponge next to a shroomlight, it makes the stop light stop glowing and become dried. Maybe that could make glowing sponge that doesn’t dry up in the nether.
    Also, placeable glow stone dust would be cool! Maybe if it only gives a light level of 3 or something. Or maybe it can only be placed in the nether, but not any of the other dimensions?
