When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Using Dye on RedStone Component Changes Colors of Output RedStone Dust Connected

Crouching and using Dye on a Redstone Repeater changes the color of the red on the repeater and the redstone dust coming out of it turns into the used dye's color.

Similar to how placing a colored glass block on a beacon changes the output beams color.

When 2 lines of restone meet with each their own color, the redstone dust on that block will be a color of the 2 combined.
Ex: 1 Red line meets 1 blue line, the block's redstone dust will be Purple

This should ofcourse also work on a Comparators, Buttons, Pressureplates, and so on.

    I think Mumbo’s idea of having redstone ridges makes more sense since it is basically just walls and it would be easy for lines to connect if you want them to.

    I like the idea and I’d like to add to that

    I would like it if the different colors would not mix but stay apart so you can put two different redstone lines together and they won’t connect
