I think this is a good idea, and would be very effective in realms. I hate griefers on my realms, so this would be a great help!

What's with the whole "all players go into adventure and also can't die and also fires won't burn and also explosions won't work"? You might as well just freeze the whole game (which is a capability whose addition into the game I do not oppose).

Also, anti-griefing should be a job for server plugins. It just doesn't fit into vanilla.

One more thing: just because a feature involves only one command doesn't mean it's better. A feature with this many convoluted steps should just be done using datapack functions (and in fact is already possible using that), so there's no point in adding a dedicated command.

    Dear Andre,

Sorry for my very late response, I never really check Minecraft Feedback.

The reason I think it is useful to have players go into adventure mode, is that players in adventure mode cannot directly destroy any blocks with any tools or place any blocks. Personally, I think it's better to immortalize players and turn off fire and explosions instead of freezing the game, as players can still move around freely.

Besides, not all Minecraft players understand how server plugins work and are able to implement them. For example, I belong to this group of players. It seems easy to me to prevent griefing with one simple command. In sudden and unforeseen situations, action must be taken quickly. For instance, when someone is about to light a pile of TNT's near your house.

For me it is really about everyone, including computer illiterates, being able to use a system that prevents vandalism at any time, without any preparations having to be made before. :-)

    Kind regards,

    Superquiner

To improve it, anyone who tries to use fire and/or explosives may be kicked while this command is active.
