Iron Golems should attack other players

Player crafted Iron Golems are pretty useless right now, while they can protect you against mobs, there are way more efficient ways to protect you agaisnt mobs and golems require a high amount of iron to be build, and wear out rather quickly. Furthermore, they only work against mobs, they wont attack players.

My idea is that a player crafted iron golem should attack other players, and the "allowed" player list should be set using a book that only the iron golem owner should be able to give him. This is the "memory" of the golem and knows who he has to protect. 

Advantage is being able to protect an area from everything from mobs to annoying players, or give em a good lesson of where they can't get in without permission.

    if they are friend you can add em to the book the golem protects

    Exactly that is a great idea my friend and I are trying to make a map and the iron golems aren't attacking the other player

    Yes! How does this only have 4 votes? Iron golems only attack mobs and are only good for that purpose. They should be used in player warfare as well.
