When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Netherite Powered Rails

These powered rails are twice as powerful as normal powered rails allowing minecarts to go 16m/s on straight track. When depowered, they will slow minecarts down twice as much. I first played Minecraft on Console Edition where minecart normally went this speed and the current minecarts are horribly slow, and need to go faster. Sometimes you dont want to go super fast so you this is a way to switch different Minecart speeds. Craft like normal powered rail but with netherite instead of gold and instead of getting 6 rails, you get 16. (Since netherite is rare.)

    that's too expensive, it would have to go at least 40 or 50 m/s for me to make one, or they could make 16 every time you craft them, because netherite is way harder to get than everyone expects

    how about upgrading a stack of them in a smithing table?

    Well you could also use netherite scraps to make them, add one to a golden rail or even give 64 as a result.
