(Bedrock Parity) Increase fishing speeds on Java to match Bedrock

I know in 1.16 fishing farms are over on Java. One of the main reasons I've used them in the past is because fishing just feels really awful to do. Just absolutely awful. I recently started playing on my PS4 also, and realised how much faster the fishing is. Not only is it faster, but I actually enjoy doing it.

I think if fishing was that fast on Java it would be much more enjoyable to fish, taking away one of the current barriers to fishing at the same time as breaking current, and perhaps future, fish farm designs. I very much enjoy fishing on bedrock and would love to see that fun come over to the Java Edition. It doesn't always have to be Java features going to Bedrock to reach parity, the BE team has some good ideas too. :)

Seconded. It is frustrating and the subtle timing difference makes it more likely for me to stay in game and enjoy different types of builds based around fishing.

This is a great idea, actually came to suggest it myself. I also noticed that on bedrock I get way more "Treasure" type loot, compared to Java where I fish up stacks of fish with no treasure.
