How about a new kind of "dungeon" of sorts in the nether, using the new lodestone + compass as the way to find it? I was thinking where you can find a naturally spawning lodestone compass either in a random chest inside a nether fortress or maybe in its own special room/structure inside the fortress. My idea for this room uses lots of these new blocks, namely a "fake" tree with warp planked floors. On the stem of the "tree" is the compass to the special nether dungeon.
The compass would point to the dungeon where, like overworld dungeons, are completely covered underground. They wouldn't generate very deep, close to the lava ocean but not underneath the lava ocean. The dungeon itself is fairly simple, being a 7 by 7 by 6 nether brick box, with doorways for every direction and lit by soul lanterns in the upper corners. In the center would lie a hanging lodestone (it being the link for the compass) and on the floor being a wither skeleton spawner, almost guaranteeing there be a generous supply of skeletons lying in wait. There would also be a few chests containing loot comparable to the nether fortresses (Maybe make the enchantment book for soul speed show up here in one guaranteed?). This structure's main purpose is to be freaking cool and also to give an easier (Mainly faster) way to get a lodestone without farming all day for ancient debris.
