Save controls when switching minecraft version

This is really simple and I don't know why it isn't in the game

(Bit of backstory)

I like to build in 1.14.4, (mainly so I can run optifine) and I use this mod which allows me to edit armour stands and save them to my toolbar but the newest version of the mod is 1.12.2 so I have to switch versions every time I want a new armour stand

My sprint key is set to 'r' instead of left control and every time i switch version, it resets my sprint key to left control

I often forget my control has been reset and get confused on why I can't sprint.

This would be very useful especially for those who have changed a lot of their controls and want to switch versions...

    for added functionality maybe it could even save it as a notepad file so when you switch to the other version you can just load the notepad file or if you switch computers
