Warped Striders

Enemies of normal striders, they can also go into lava, but are faster on land. Use crimson mushrooms on a stick. Can be killed for string also.

    Maybe they could also be slower in lava. So the normal striders have the lava advantage, but the warped striders have the high ground, the advantage on land.

    If a Strider isn't in the lava, It trasform in a Warped Strider. They are aggressive

    The warped striders and the normal striders could growl at each other and be territorial and attack the other kind if they are on their land.

    Warped strider that get in lava should have some sort of up and down movements animations which indicates that they're are feeling really hot in there.. and they are trying to avoid lava.

    Maybe they could be like more aggressive Endermen, stalking around looking for prey like the Striders in Half-Life, intimidatingly walking high above your head (or similar).

    they can be a bluish colour and live in the soulsand biome, where everything is blue

    Normal striders are technically warped striders, they are attracted to warped fungi unlike other nether creatures.

    Perhaps the warped strider is a very tall mob that's covered in warped vines, and will walk around, often squatting to nibble the fungi

    I don’t really get what this mobs purpose is it’s just another strider and do we really need a mob in minecraft that has just been copy-pasted from another mob

    It would be funny if these would be as an adult the size of the baby striders.

    It would be perfect to call them strippers but that may not be family friendly so but they dont turn, that defeats purpose, the warped guys spawn on lava beaches close to striders

    Maybe they should also be able to walk on water instead of land, since land-walking creatures like horses and pigs have already been implemented.

    warped striders doesn't make sense according to me because the normal striders are used on lava and the horse is used on land so I don't know if the warped strider idea of it going on land is practical. 

    I mean the fastest horse goes at 14.5 blocks a second what do you need more than that????????????????!

    I think it should be called a crimson strider, since the normal striders like warped fungi.

    How about they are faster on Soul Soil and Soul Sand? I know that they live in a forest that is made for end related mobs but being fed Crimson Fungi sounds like they are given more strength to power through the blocks.
