Remove saddles from Strider

If I could get back my saddle after putting it in a Strider  I could use only one to go across the nether. Now if I want to do that I need to kill the Strider and that's and that is violent and cruel. For the same reason it would be nice to be able to remove the saddles from the pigs. Please, add this mechanic to make Minecraft more friendly with the Striders (and pigs).

    I agree. 

    Maybe we could get the saddle back by left clicking the mob while crouching, or just add an inventory like horses?

    I agree, I got off my strider and realised I couldnt get my saddle, so I hit it but knocked it back in the lava anyways

    I love destroying animals no matter what they are but I absolutely hate having to kill a strider especially since these cuties basically served their purpose for 5 minutes tops because I just wanted my saddle back. It's no big deal however they are cute which is my biggest point in this argument funnily enough.

    I agree, is so sad to kill the strider after I rode it for like 5 minutes just because I need my saddle back.

    Yeah, I always feel bad afterwards, but striders don't stick around and I can't have it despawn with my only saddle.

    Yeah! You should be able remove it by using an empty hand on the strider (or pig), like you do with an armor stand.

    PLEASE ADD THIS MECHANIC I took off my precious saddle from my horse and used it to ride a strider only to realize that i can't get it off unless I kill the strider!! Please add this feature ASAP. :,(
