The trap weed is a plant that’s technically an entity it lays flat on the grounds of Jungles and is the same color as the jungle grass with a swirl like texture that’s different shades of green and when you step on it the plant traps the player in it and deals the poison effect as long as the player is in it with the only why to get out and kill the plant is by either hitting its center with a projectile or other weapon or lighting it on fire or causing it to catch fire mobs can also get trapped with the plant going back to its dormant state once the mob or player inside of the plant dies

    I like the idea, but I think the design should be a little different.

    Instead of being a completely flat mob, I feel it should be a full block size, like the shulker. And instead of being textured like grass, it should look like leaves. that way it'll blend in with the foliage all over the ground.

    @Zinc shepherd the whole point of it is to be a trap not something like a shulker
