When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Redstone energy update

 
Redstone itself is an endless source of energy, especially a block of red stone, I propose to limit it to the time of "burning".
Yes, it will break a bunch of mechanisms, but ...
It’s also more interesting :)
It would also be possible to introduce some clean sources of energy production (also a water wheel)

    I disagree with this idea as this would break millions of contraptions. You underestimate how much damage this idea will inflict upon the very core of Minecraft redstone. This also means a ton of contraptions will be huge and not compact because it would require multiple blocks just to make the power source.
