So way back in the early days of Minecraft, you may remember some of the first mobs that were introduced, one of them was this cute little girl in a frog outfit named Rana. Rana was a mob in minecraft that Notch had in the early alpha stages of the game, but was scrapped and is now considered unused, but does it have to remain that way?
Well, with Mojang currently going through and re-adding old unused mechanics and features such as lecterns, Lanterns and most recently crying obsidian, I would like to see a mob as obscure as Rana get some attention again. Even though at first she may have not had much of a purpose in the game, this doesn't mean we could try and modify it a bit so that even in modern Minecraft she could be a great addition.
Judging from Rana's appearance, she makes me think of Nature spirits or something along the lines of that, so I would imagine maybe she could be a mob that inhabits a fictional biome, like a magical forest. She could also be an NPC like villagers, but they don't spawn in groups, rather she's rare to come by, but she could be found inside a little house atop of a tree where she could trade with you for magic related items or potion ingredients if you go and gather stuff from around the area and give it to her, but this is just something I thought of as a sort of basic description of how I would envision her. What do you guys think? Let me know! Any feedback or constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated.
