Parrots can detect nearby ores

Parrots don't seem to have much use, and birds were used in mining to detect dangerous gases, this inspired the idea that parrots could be used during mining but to help you find ores, flying towards an area where they detect any nearby ores (nearby meaning no more than maybe 10 blocks away?)

    birds were used to tell people whether or not the air was poisonous because the bird would die

    Yes, I know birds were used for a different reason in real life, but it was just an inspiration for something the parrots could do that slightly relates (because they are still helpers in caves, but on a different way since there are no poisonous gases in Minecraft)
