When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Red fire from igniting a redstone block.

Just as with soul fire and soul soil, redstone blocks will infinitely burn red, and just as with redstone torches, the fire will power redstone dust and components around it.

    This idea is interesting.  I'm more in support than I am against it, but I still don't feel one way or the other, as I feel this is kinda controversial.  Maybe like regular fire, it could burn out, unlike soul fire on soul soil and fire on netherack/bedrock.  I do think the idea of it powering things is interesting though, and would be a cool addition if this was to be a thing.

    Maybe redstone ore could also burn with a red flame but it only lasts a short time like orange flames on most blocks.
