I know this would be very controversial, but I think that mob spawners (mob cages) should be removed or at least updated. Instead I think there should be naturally generated structures that naturally spawn one type of mob at an increased rate ( ie. a graveyard that only spawns zombies). This would keep the same general concept of the mob farms, but it would make exploration much more interesting. The spawner would be treated somewhat like a biome, so no matter what you do with it, the zone will always spawn a specific mob around it. This idea could be expanded upon a lot and any suggestions are appreciated.
