Generation of Basalt Veins/Pockets in the Nether

Underground, and when mining in the nether, you are usually surrounded by endless amounts netherack and the occasional veins of quarts and pockets of lava. To add more variety to the make up of the nether bed, veins and pockets of basalt should exist in the nether, like granite, diorite, and andesite. Not only would this make mining in the nether more important, but make basalt more easily accessible. After all, basalt is cooled lava and it would only make sense to have cooled lava underground.
