Currently in the Nether Update, lava oceans are rather boring and don't offer anything at all of interest, unlike their Overworld counterparts. It would probably be a good idea to add something under there to incentivise exploration of the lava sea.
A good idea would to be to add structures underneath it, specifically one that looks like an upside-down glowstone cluster, which is made entirely out of glowing obsidian. As this block has been unobtainable in Bedrock Edition for almost a decade, and is threatened with removal, this could be a very good way to make it part of the game again - there would be a high risk to getting it, but when you do get it, you are rewarded with a light source which cannot be blown up or easily destroyed.
