I have noticed that Android 8.0+ has Gamepad and Controller support and so does Minecraft, but due to internal errors all inputs for the Dualshock 4 controller are mixed (e.g. L1 being ∆). I've tested it and this error could be fixed by adding a custom mapping option to the settings. This would work by giving the user controls on the screen and telling them to emulate it with their controller (e.g. The prompt shows the left joystick being rolled in a circle and the user doing this would map it). Besides custom controller mapping, there is another error causing the player to pointlessly spin to the left when hooking a controller to Android Minecraft.
**Note to Moderators**
This error cannot be fixed by going into setting and setting controls. I tried to map Jump to "X" and it registered as Square.
