(Console parity) Nether exclusives

In the Legacy Console version of the game, there were some exclusive nether-themed features. These were nice and would make up some great (but small) additions for the Nether Update.

The exclusives:

  • Wither skeleton spawns outside of Nether fortress.
  • Blaze drop, besides Blaze rods, also 0-2 glowstone dust.

And perhaps the best one:

  • Nether warts generate on soulsand blocks outside Nether fortress.

    I think those exclusive features were added due to the fact that worlds in Legacy Console were not infinite, so it made sense to have things that are only available in fortresses to be everywhere in the Nether, in case there wasn't a fortress in your world.

    Wither skeletons always spawned within proximity of a fortress on console, not a huge difference. As for the other features, nether wart could spawn on souls and near the fortresses, and maybe blazes have a lower chance. I still think there should be a better way of obtaining glowstone than just mining it. The nether ends up getting super dark otherwise.
