As we all know, the Village and Pillage Updated reworked how villages worked, how trades are, and generations themselves. The additions of cats are a great one, to add some more life to a village.
However, being able to tame these cats has made the ocelot, a mob found in the Jungle Biome that was the only way to own a cat in Minecraft, obsolete. The purpose of this mob has been erased and it's either this mob gains new behaviors, stays the way it is, or Cats that spawn in villages need a slight rework.
I propose that a completely separate mob from the cat and ocelot be added to add more challenge to Minecraft again, to regain something to say "Yeah, I got a mob from a rare biome"; Village Cats ! (Not a creative name, I know. Needed a start for the idea."
These felines will look and act generally like tamed cats, but will not be tamable by the player and will belong to the village like it should be. They will still run from the player.
If possible, a addition could be that feeding 2 cats will result in a kitten that follows the parent and once grown, will become a Village Cat.
