Rodactyle [ New Flying Mob ]

This mob would be a bright orange lizard like creature, with a long pointed beak. It would spawn in biomes such as the badlands, or the desert. Sitting on mountains or hills, waiting for its prey. It will swoop down and claw at players, or any animal similar sized to the player. Smaller animals, chickens, rabbits, will be grabbed and taken away to its nest. If defeated, the Rodactyle will drop a special Feather, which can be used to reinforce the Elytra so it stays undamaged. Minecraft still needs more flying mobs, i think this would be a nice addition!
