Yearly feedback update

So every year we have been getting a big update and are now getting a small biome update after it. I think that mojang should add random highly voted post ideas that they would be willing to put into the game. But, they should do like they do with the biome updates(let the community vote on their favorites). They wouldn’t need to be huge ideas but maybe just items and mobs. They could be added in the same updates as the yearly biome update. (Not sure that this idea belongs in the “community live events” category). I feel like this would get small feedback ideas even more involved in the game.

    An annual contest, centered around a random theme, where some of the most upvoted posts would have their idea implemented into the game would be exciting. Mojang should actually add all of the 'announced features' so a feedback update isn't too bad of an idea.

    Still don't understand why so many people hate the phantom, as all of them are hostile mobs I think there would be significant backlash for any mob they put in as they have unique attack methods.

    Beacuse phantoms force you to sleep or get attacked by them all night and some players liked the challenge of going out at night and not sleeping so this basically ruined how they like to play the game. Also the blazing inferno wasn't added because of it which would have added a much needed challenge to neather fortresses.
