Soul fire screaming

When soul soil is lit on fire, instead of sounding like regular fire, it should sound like screaming, because the fire is burning away at the souls in the soul soil

    That's cool but, personaly, I think it would be even better with the normal fire sound most of the time and a "soul scream" here and there at random.

    Also, the scream should be not very loud, maybe even almost barely udible, so that it seems to come from very far away.

    M4lagant I think you are right about how loud it should be(maybe slightly louder) and include the regular fire sound but I think it should scream all scream 60% of the time (the screaming and fire sounds can overlap), and, of course, different variants of the sound.

    It should sound like fire and screaming. If it only sounded like screaming, you wouldn't identify it as fire without seeing it.

    It should be a very subtle screaming/moaning type noise, similar to the ambient noises in Soul Sand Valleys.

    A breathy noise would be much better since screams are way too gory.

    It sound have more like a whisper scream to it hidden in the sound of flames so it's not too loud or annoying. Should work with campfires too
