Exploring around in the Soul Sand Valleys is still cool even without this change, but I feel it would bring up the atmosphere greatly if the fog was even denser / started closer to the player when in the middle of this biome. Especially with the massive basalt pillars extending down, seeing them extend downwards into fog would be a really nice touch. At the moment, it also looks fairly strange seeing the blue fog over massive lava lakes, as the colours contrast in a strange way. Obviously contrast isn't necessarily bad and works in the favour of biomes like the Warped Forest, but for the reasons I said before I think more limited visibility would work greatly in favour of the new Soul Sand Valley biome.

- Some examples of what I mean using a low render distance, note how atmospheric it looks as the pillars descend into the fog.
