The nether Geckoling would be a lizard like creature who stands on two legs and has three fingers and toes on each limb it would have a slighlty hunced back and would have a scale like texture along its body it would have some spines in on its back in a 2D form similar to the feathers on the parrots head and also some gills on the side of its face, The creature would spawn in the new nether biomes most fitting to it and it would change skin colour depending on which environment it was in the Geckoling would attack the player by running towards it and hitting the player with its hands or having a longer range attack of 1.25 or 2 blocks reach where it would hit the player with its tongue. The Geckoling be another option for food dropping a form of Squamata meat which could be similar to steak but in the overworld it doesnt fill as much hunger up and would be a good option for food in the nether along with the hoglin meat. But if food isnt a primary concern for drops then the Geckoling could also drop some other interesting drop like glow pelt which could be used as a 1 by 2 carpet or as a replacement for leather in the nether which could be used in the item frame recipe but the leather look would look like the skin of the lizard in the background of the item frame.
