Mangrove Texture (Colour)

As we all know, sometime in the future, Mojang is adding mangrove wood to Minecraft as part of a small update to the swamp biome. This is a nice texture that they should use for the planks and the other wooden products from the mangrove wood.

Note: Look at the wooden part


The main reason behind me choosing this texture is the fact that there is currently a villager workstation (Smithing Table) that has a texture of no other wood currently in the game. This makes no sense. The Baobab and Palm tree’s simply wood (terrible pun) not suit this. An awesome and unique aesthetic to swamp and spooky-themed builds

    This texture seems extremely similar to nether brick, so could work well in nether-themed builds or in roofs in general, alongside your already mentioned uses. I'm pointing out here though that there are multiple ways of implementing this texture into the game as a new block, such as a stone-cut nether brick variant or the plank of one of the upcoming nether trees.

    Cool Idea! my only concern is villagers do not have the technology to visit the nether, so it would not fit in with the vanilla storyline. I agree it could be useful for nether-themed builds though.

    I think it's gonna be more like a greenish color, because in the swamp is all wet and mossy
