Bees often get lost when they're searching for their nest/hive. It's tiring because after a moment there are no bees around the nests.
I think bees should know where their home is and once they enter it they should remember its coordinates. They can remember location of the flowers yet!
I also suggest increasing bees' range of finding nests - it should be at least 25 instead of just 10 blocks.
And about the nests full of bees - when the nearest nest is full, bee tries to locate another one (or go into known one). If there's no free nest in 25 blocks and known one in 50 blocks radius, bee could wait until one of bees leaves it and then enter it.
