This new Savanna only structure will appear as a ring of 3-4 block tall totem poles and a lit campfire in the middle. The ring will be 11 blocks in circumference. It will be as rare as igloos.
To persuade players to find them, the meeting circle will spawn a new hostile savanna mob called Sabermen, that appear as a hyena/man hybrid wearing tribal hunting masks. I'm thinking they could tie in with another savanna mob suggestion I saw on here, the Sabercur. The mobs will come equipped with spears, which can just be a retextured trident, for the savanna. The Sabermen will spawn at a relatively high rate in a 20 block radius around the campfire.
Their drops will include some random drops such as carrots, clay and sticks and their mob specific drops will include a chance of dropping a nearly broken spear and a special green shard, like guardian's prismarine shard.
If you can manage to get to it, there will be a chest hidden underneath the campfire and will reward the play with a 'Heart of the Earth' or some other name. The Heart of the Earth and the Sabermen's green shard drops will be used along with honeycomb, or some other block such as bonemeal, to craft a Saber crystal.
The Saber crystal can only be placed on a block of the Sabermen's shards and will increase the growth rate of all crops, saplings and mobs within an 11x11 block area.
I would love some ideas on how to make getting the saber crystal more of challenging, to make it feel more of a reward.
