I would absolutely love to see a theme park dedicated to Minecraft. I believe the user base is established and growing enough that it would be a sustainable and long-lasting attraction. There is also enough content and inherent creativity in the Minecraft "realm" that there could be enough material for interactive play, rides, themed food, etc.
I say this idea because my son just turned five this past week and completed chemotherapy for non-hodgkin's lymphoma last month so we wanted to make this birthday extra special. Our idea was to spend $2,000 to go to Disneyland. Well, we did (more than $2,000) and let's just say that he lasted maybe a couple hours each day. He was completely uninterested and only cared about playing Minecraft. He *asked* us to leave the park each day so we could play Minecraft at the hotel instead.
Please consider this as we would definitely go and I don't see his interest waning in the future. Please also consider lifetime passes for us (:
