This one is relatable to anyone who's placed stairs or glazed terracotta: you place an item only to realize its wrongly oriented & you have to destroy the item, replace it, & then continue whatever you were doing (generally, placing more of the same block & having to do this again).
What if the orientation of the block were shown in-hand before right-clicking? We wouldn't have to guess & replace, which would be rather silly in real life, "oops, I accidentally built my stairs upside down."
This would increase QOL & make building a more enjoyable experience. I personally encounter frustration when placing stairs up a diagonal hallway when I'm ascending & placing. More than that, in https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-55290, I show that glazed terracotta orientation is actually broken, so some patterns aren't possible to attain. Now, imagine if you knew the orientation of the glazed terracotta before you placed it. I think these kind of changes will convince players who dislike these blocks to integrate them into their decoration.
