Bats pollinating non-flowers

With the Bees out pollinating all the crops and flowers, time to give bats some pollination love as they have in real life.  Ther's already a suggestion to let them pollinate flowers, but I'm thinking this should be for all those "dark area" vegetation. Thinking netherwart, brown, and red mushrooms should be pollinated via bats!  Netherwart pollination could work the same as crops.  Mushrooms could be forced to spread (heck maybe even netherwart too!) or a small chance of becoming a "big" mushroom.  Maybe even have bats spawn in the nether so for whatever vegetation the nether is getting they can help there too?

Give Bats some love and usefulness.

    Mushrooms don't need to be pollinated; they're fungi, not plants.

    The pollination of plants by bats is called chiropterophily. ... The tube-lipped nectar bat's tongue is more than one and a half times the length of its body! While these plants rely on bats to pollinate their flowers, bats also rely on the fruit and flowers of these plants to survive.

    Also as someone else tried to address, not all bats are pollinators but some are.
