So I know that you can use lava or cactuses or redstone contraptions to help destroy unwanted items and OK that works sure. But what if those options could walk... and be tamed... AND fight for you like Wolves.
Well... Let's introduce the OmNom! The OmNom is a mythical magical creature that can be tamed (by some means... Haven't figured that out yet) and are used in combat like wolves can. They can also sit, teleport and follow the player when commanded to.
Now you may think, "What is this? You're just explaining a Minecraft wolf!"
Well hold up mate...... The OmNom has ONE decernable feature: they can eat items. And I mean obviously they aren't going to eat your inventory upon death, they are just attracted to it. When pets, the player just has to drop items in front of the OmNom and right click with a special item (as clicking with the player's hand just sits it down) will cause the OmNom to run to the items and eat them. Another way to both get rid of items and feeding your pet is to just right click them in its mouth OR to throw the items into its mouth directly. Anytime you feed the OmNom items,
it heals it also like a wolf. Items also include shulker boxes with items. Not including the special item the player uses to make the OmNom eat the items (that will have to be destroyed another way.
Anyway, now you can have a pet, soldier and garbage disposal ALL IN ONE. What else do you need honestly!
